Game Summary: Snowblind is, at its heart, a survival horror game. The mysterious and sinister Admin controls the town from afar, and people from different worlds keep waking up in a snow-covered and abandoned town (Norfinbury) with no explanation of why. Nanomachines suppress any latent abilities or powers, an unfortunate side effect of protecting all the inhabitants from radiation sickness. Anomalies that pursue and kill, lack of rations or hot water, and temperatures at night that kill without fail are just a few of the things that anyone unfortunate enough to get caught here experience. The game is mystery driven, with characters constantly trying to uncover the secrets of the town and a possible way home.

How long was your character in Game: 11 months OOC, 4 months IC
History of Character in their Game:
-> Bucky arrived on day 114 and immediately assumed that he had been captured and relocated by one of the many world agencies hunting for him. He used the network to attempt to solicit weapons in exchange for his food and clothing, under the assumed name of Jay (username: @j). He spent much of his first few days completely alone, stalking the network for clues.

-> Only four days later he was pulled into his first event, something that involved residents being able to see one another's dreams. Multiple people witnessed him being wiped at the hands of HYDRA, and shooting people he cared about over and over. However, he also saw the dreams of others, and he ended up forming a tentative bond with a child called Kesara who seemed to be equally suspicious of the world as he was.

-> Sadly, a mod-induced end-of-event problem meant that the Soldier became triggered by seeing Steve Rogers, someone Bucky had been attempting to avoid. This caused Bucky to become a mindless weapon with the sole intent of killing Steve; however, he ran into Tifa Lockhart and Cloud Strife first, killing both of them brutally when they got in his way and attempted to stop him. This marked the first time that Bucky had killed since escaping HYDRA in his own world, and it shook him deeply with guilt and grief. It was the catalyst for a lot of his following decisions and the CR that developed from them.

-> He contacted John Watson as one of the random doctors and requested strong sedatives. His aim was to be able to sedate himself if he found himself around others again, thus making it far less likely that he'd be able to hurt or kill anyone else. He was prescribed Fentora, and used it for his intended purpose until he ran out. Unfortunately, when he called back for more, Dr. Watson became less inclined to just dispense medication and tried to get the mysterious 'j' to open up. Because Watson opened up himself first, Bucky did actually give away some of his past and identity to Watson. This was the starting point of where he began to trust someone else in game.

-> During the next few weeks, Bucky's tentative friendship with Kesara blossomed and, though neither of them trusted one another, he began to teach her written Chinese. This proved a huge turning point for him, as it allowed him to prove to himself that he could contribute in ways that weren't violent. This was, however, also when his exposure effects began to truly kick in. Residents of Norfinbury become poisoned by the nanites in their blood, something that has a wide range of possible symptoms, and Bucky began to develop paranoia. This would eventually grow to be all-consuming and make it very difficult for him to even sleep or eat if other people were present, too concerned with either them hurting him or him hurting them.

-> The next big event in the life of Bucky were the arrivals of some of the Avengers - Natasha, Tony, and Clint (thought Natasha and Tony arrived shortly before Clint). They introduced him to the idea of the multiverse once it became obvious that he wasn't the Bucky that they knew (they were all 616 comic versions), which forced him to confront the idea that he might be able to have a life post-Soldier recovery. His friendship with the Avengers hit a lot of road blocks, mostly due to his own paranoia, but he gradually began to trust them in ways far beyond just being able to stop him if he lost control again.

-> A chance encounter with Charlie Kelly in one of the houses almost drove him once more to unforgivable violence. Charlie recognised him as a movie character from his own world, and Bucky assumed this meant he was a secret HYDRA operative to have that level of knowledge about him. He likely would have severely hurt Charlie if John Watson hadn't stepped in and managed to diffuse the situation. Still, he determined to keep a very close eye on Charlie from then on.

-> John Watson's casebook was published by mistake to the public network, alerting Bucky that John had known who he was all along, for he had also seen the movies that Charlie had seen. He felt betrayed and lied to, as he had begun to think of John as a friend, and so he lured John to a meeting at the aquarium under false pretences. He alleged that it was to assist him with frostbite (which he had been suffering with, though he had been ignoring the pain to a large extent), but really it was to question John on what he knew about both himself and the other Avengers. When John refused to give up the information willingly, they ended up fighting and Bucky severely wounded John, tied him to a chair, and prepared to torture him. John, however, kept his head and managed to talk Bucky down before he did anything completely unforgivable.

-> The decision to untie John Watson instead of torture him was a massive turning point in Bucky's character arc. He had been heading down a path of complete self destruction, anger, and violence, but he began to start clawing his way back towards being somewhat of a good man. John's forgiveness and kindness cemented their friendship, and earned Bucky's undying loyalty. This friendship grew over the next few weeks and months to a point where Bucky considers John a brother and loves him as such.

-> This was also, sadly, the point where everything imploded on Bucky's good intentions. After running into others in the aquarium, Davesprite told the network at large about Bucky and what he had done to John. This led to Bucky admitting himself that he was dangerous to the public network, him being placed on the 'Dangerous Person List', and a massive debate sparking about using the Admin to remove violent impulses. The other Avengers tried to do damage control, and promised to come and collect Bucky to mind him and make sure he didn't hurt anyone else.

-> Strangely, this led to Bucky making two unlikely new friends - Charlie (who he had previously hurt), and Davesprite (who had outed him to the network). Charlie kindly forgave him for what had been done and offered understanding rather than condemnation, which surprised Bucky but also left him grateful. Davesprite had been told by Natasha and Clint that there was more to Bucky's story than 'mindless villain', and so he ended up apologising and the two tentatively began to converse. Several awkward phone conversations later, and they had almost become friends, though friends that didn't trust each other in person at all.

-> For a few days it seemed like things might have turned a corner. The Avengers helped look out for Bucky, Tony began to consider ways to reattach his prosthetic arm (which had been removed to deal with his frostbite earlier), and people were beginning to trust him again. And then Alexander Pierce arrived. Pierce was Bucky's last handler in canon, one of the organisation that brainwashed him and forced him to be a killer, and someone who knew the trigger words to turn him back into the Soldier at a moment's notice. Bucky panicked, alienated pretty much all his friends to drive them away from him so that he could handle it on his own, and set out on a vendetta to hunt Pierce down and silence him for good. It did not end well.

-> A few chance encounters with Pierce over the network, and twice during an event where John helped fight him off, as well as Bucky's spiralling paranoia, left him in horrific shape. He barely ate, didn't wash, and just hunted with a single minded determination. Made all the worse by the arrival of yet another Steve Rogers in the game (the third one), and this one without his serum and therefore with no protection. Bucky did eventually track Pierce down but, during a fight where Pierce nearly died and became disgusted at the level of personal care his weapon had failed to upkeep, the Soldier was triggered.

-> He spent nearly a full week as the Soldier, mindlessly obedient to Pierce, simply following orders. He slept, he ate, and he groomed himself. He also lied to his friends, and watched John die without any real empathy whatsoever. When Pierce allowed him freedom from the Soldier, Bucky spiralled into guilt and terror at what had been done. He apologised to all his friends for not trusting them to help him, aware now of the mistakes he had made, and made a conscious effort to rely on them more.

-> Steve tenaciously tracked him down in this time, despite Bucky trying to avoid him, and eventually caught up to him in the hospital where he convinced Bucky to allow them to travel together at least on a trial period. This led to Bucky being unable to let Steve go again, and hatching a plan to implant new trigger words to keep Steve safe in case Pierce ever triggered the Soldier again. He allowed John to do this, a mark of just how much he had come to trust the other man, and eventually it worked. Or seemed to.

-> This is the point that Bucky is coming to the Meadous, a few days following that night implanting new trigger words, on his way to meet back up with Tony to try and finally reclaim his arm.

How did they change from their canon personality wise: The biggest change to Bucky's personality is the renewal of the ability to trust. He still doesn't trust easily or quickly, and the paranoia he still suffers from makes it hard to even trust people that he considers friends sometimes, but he does trust now. He has made friends, when in canon he had simply been ghosting through the world in an attempt to hide, and that has helped give him back more of the man he used to be. He has learned to smile, albeit rarely, and to offer advice to others without expecting a knife in the back in return.

He has also suffered more traumas thanks to the events and Pierce, which have left him even more paranoid and with extremely strong emotional issues. His violent tendencies are on a hair trigger and he is liable to lash out if he thinks he is being threatened, though he will always endeavour not to kill or hurt if possible. As a note, I am fully aware that if he lashed out in the Meadous then this would incur punishment, and I would always make sure to check with the other player first.

How did they change from their canon physically: Bucky now only has one arm, his metal prosthetic was removed due to frostbite and never returned to him. This has also produced further extensive scarring around his collarbone and shoulder area. He is much thinner than he was, and his hair is much longer, he is also unkempt - all of this is thanks to Norfinbury's lack of supplies and his own worsening mental state.
Powers: None - this is due to Snowblind removing all abilities above an average human level.
Possessions: Inventory list.

Please provide three samples from your previous game, at least one will have to be third person with context:
Sample One: In person interrogation with John Watson
Sample Two: Over the network admission of guilt
Sample Three: In person Soldier triggering

Notes: It's probably for the best if Bucky lives alone. He will not remember his time from the fourth wall.
