[Bucky knows that Steve doesn't really understand why he chose to go back under instead of live his life in freedom; but, to Bucky, this was freedom. He didn't have to worry that he'd hurt anyone ever again while he was out cold, nor did he have to worry that someone else might be coming for him with the whole might of Wakanda surrounding him.

He's expecting to be out for years until a way is found to effectively remove his programming, maybe even forever if one is never found, but that's not to be. All of a sudden unconsciousness is becoming consciousness again, the familiar chills and nausea of coming around from cryo-freeze wracking through him as he looks up through blurry vision to see the king.]

[ Countless mysteries scattered across the universes and T'Challa took it upon himself to try and solve them all, especially when a current puzzle contained questions never before answered. For a genius, it stretched his capabilities and challenged him in a way regular everyday activities never could. But even he admitted the enormous challenge they took on with James and attempting to navigate the fallen soldier back towards a realm of awaiting peace. Even if it took him eight months to do so. The long weeks seeing many shifts and changes as loathe as T'Challa felt to bring James back into chaos, he couldn't allow for him to slip away further than he already had.

Ordering the scientists to begin waking up James, an eagerness bubbled up within him, laced with the foreboding of the darkness threatening them all lately. The infinity stones would destroy them all but it was a worry for another time and place. Right now, he wanted to focus on James and bringing him back. ]
