[She catches that look, brief as it is. But then he's pulling away, running. Ava catches sight of him, but she doesn't try to chase him, she just lets him go. Allows him to pull back to a space where he feels more comfortable.

She's prone to running herself, she understands the need. She wont try to hold him anywhere he doesn't want to be. She stuffs her hands in her pockets and lets her feet lead her the rest of the way home.]
